Terms and Conditions

Please read the terms and conditions below carefully. By participating in the The Vibe Dance Competition, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.

​​​​1. Media Release:
By participating in the The Vibe Dance Competition, You grant The Vibe Dance Competition the right to use photographs, video recordings, or any other media documentation of your studio’s performance, without further notice or compensation.

2. Fees and Payment:
All entry fees are due no later than January 15, 2025. Failure to pay the entry fee by this date may result in disqualification.

3. Admin Fees:
The Vibe Dance Competition retains the authority to apply administrative fees for schedule adjustments, with the fee amount determined by the extent of the changes made.

These adjustments may include, but are not limited to:
        a) Renaming routines in excess of five routines.
        b) Adding or deleting dancers that would alter the group category, affecting their placement in the schedule.

4. Extension of Competition Dates:
The Vibe Dance Competition reserves the right to extend the competition dates in unforeseen circumstances or events beyond our control. Participants will be informed of any such extensions in a timely manner.

5. Agreement to Rules and Regulations:
By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, You acknowledge and agree to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by The Vibe Dance Competition.

6. Truthful Information:
All information You provide to The Vibe Dance Competition must be true, accurate, and complete. Any false or misleading information may result in disqualification.

7. Original Choreography:
Participants must ensure that all choreography presented is original and not stolen property. Dance City Promotions will not tolerate the use of copyrighted material without proper authorization.

8. Entry Fee Refund Policy:
All entry fees are non-refundable, except in the case of solos, duos, or trios, accompanied by a valid doctor’s note received no later than February 1st. In such cases, a credit will be issued, minus a $5 administrative fee per entry.

9. Entry Cancellation Refund:
The Vibe Dance Competition does not provide refunds for entry cancellations.

10. No Defamation:
Participants are prohibited from making any defamatory statements, negative comments, or derogatory remarks about The Vibe Dance Competition, the Directors, or any other Participants/Studio’s, whether through social media or any other means. Violation of this provision may result in disqualification and suspension from future events. 

11. Intellectual PropertyAll content and materials available on the Portal, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of The Vibe Dance Competition or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Portal without our express written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Vibe Dance Competition shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Portal or participation in competitions.

13. Indemnification You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Vibe Dance Competition, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to your use of the Portal or violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to TermsWe reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Portal. Your continued use of the Portal after any changes signifies your acceptance of the modified Terms.
